My coaching style

My guiding principles are;

  • Openness
  • Curiosity
  • Equality

Coaching with me is about exploring your emotions and fears. Together we take the time to uncover your roadblocks and help you get unstuck. You'll find me compassionate, non judgmental and open to hearing your story.

You won't find me shouting at you or being confrontational. If you want a coach who is going to motivate you through conflict then that isn't me.

I will, however, ask you the difficult questions that you've been avoiding asking yourself.

I'll take you places that you don't want to go so you can see yourself in a new light and with a new perspective.

I'll help you unlock your emotional blocks so you'll be able to rise up to any challenge and be anyone that you want to be.

And I'll do this in a safe space that we create together, so that we can do the deep transformational work that we need to do to get you unstuck and moving forward in your life.

My core values are;

Love

I love what I do and I do what I love. I believe that you can see the world through two different lenses love and fear. And that to truly let go of our fears we have to use love, as love and fear can not exist together.

Acceptance

I practice acceptance of myself, others and the world around me. I'm open to my emotional experience and I am  accepting of my thoughts and feelings. I don't try to change them or hold onto them but instead make space for them so I can choose to be who I want to be.

Peace

I make inner peace my only goal. I know that inner peace is a choice not a result. Inner peace is independent of who I am, what I do, and what I have.

Authenticity

Rather than let my thoughts and feelings drive my behaviour. I remain authentic to my values. My values act as my compass and my guide to who I want to be. These are the values that I have chosen freely and not those given to me by society, my parents or imposed by others.

Integrity

I live my life in line with my values. I am honest with others, thus I must first be totally honest with myself. I must be true to myself. I must be true to the very best that is in me, to be the very best that I know how in this moment.

What stood out was that in a sea of wannabe practitioners and teachers of “skills” and “practices” in this space, this is the real deal: Focused, intelligent, exploratory, tolerant and wise, I’d recommend Gary’s very human, humane, and practical approach to anyone.
